10 months old

Our little girl is 10 months old today! Where did the time go? The day of her birth is so clearly etched in my mind. In those first weeks, if you told me things would be so amazing at 10 months, I wouldn't have believed you. She is doing new things almost daily. She learned to crawl the day after Easter, to make very funny sounds, and clap her hands. She's pulling up on her knees, so now the crib mattress has been lowered and she rolls over to sleep on her tummy. She is a mama's girl now--turn my back to her and you'll hear a very upset little girl.

Isaac is a little spit-fire and is testing limits and pushing boundaries. He is really figuring out that he has his own opinion and knows what he wants (no idea where he gets that from!). His speech is becoming more clear every day--is great at singing songs and the ABCs and counting (although the #4 seems to be omitte a lot!). He is still loving trains and anything related to monsters. But don't show him a bug or talk about them--he freaks out! Now that Easter has come and gone, he is asking when his birthday is and when Santa's coming back. He loves his little sister, almost too much at times...he can get really physical with her. It will be interesting when she "loves" him back!

We had a great Easter. Isaac went egg-hunting as soon as he woke up. I'm sure Piper loved her treats. We went over to my in-laws' for a meal after church. Eddy's brother and his family was there, too.
