Getting Caught Up

Oh, it can be hard to update the blog when I get so far behind! Let's see...

October 27th brought the season's first snowfall. I pulled out the winter gear and headed outside. Now with Piper being mobile, I worked up a sweat before getting out of the house!

Piper had had it with the snow!

The kids had a great Halloween! Isaac loves playing in his costumes, so he had plenty to chose from. When the big day came, I was happy that he chose to be a clown with a green wig and a red honking nose! My sister got Piper's costume last year, so she's been set for awhile! Papa Steve had a garden this summer with some pumpkins. He was told that if you write/draw on the pumpkin when it's growing, the image will be burned into the skin. So he wrote each of the kids' names on what turned out to be pretty large pumpkins! A deer was eager to eat them, so if you look closely, Isaac's pumpkin has been partially eaten. There was a boy at daycare who had the boy version of Piper's costume, so that was a great photo op!

Isaac loves Lindsey and Paul's dog, Darpy. So sweet. Not gonna happen at our house :)

It makes me happy that the Tischer love-of-frosting has been passed down to my kids! We're enjoying licking the beaters!
At a trip to my sister's house, Piper enjoys looking at a book while Auntie changes her pants!
It's amazing how fast kids pick up on using a phone!
Storytime before bed is so special to us. The kids are so active, that looking at books is the only time they really sit with us.

We've been enjoying toddler radio on Pandora. We burn off some energy after dinner by dancing in the living room!
UWS hosted Winterfest, a free fun-filled evening for the community. Isaac did great this year with Santa. Piper, well, not so much!
