Lasts and Firsts

The week after Eddy left was a week of adjustments. It was also really busy. I had started a new work schedule of working Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I wrote "work" on each of those days on the calendar, so I wouldn't forget about my new schedule! The kids had also started at the new daycare (which we LOVE). And with Eddy being gone, I was the kids' dropper-offer and picker-upper, which was new.
But even more importantly, Isaac had PreK graduation on Tuesday, May 29. They made graduation hats to wear, then sang songs, and got their diplomas. It was so cute!

Later that day, Isaac had his first baseball game. It's coach-pitch, everyone gets to hit, learn the basics of the game type of league. The kids are adorable!



Thursday was Isaac's last day of school. It's amazing to think back to the first day and see how much he has learned, grown socially as well as physically, and spiritually. He is an awesome kid.



I was able to get off work early to be able to pick him up after the all-school picnic. We went to a store and he picked out a new toy. Then we went to DQ for a treat! It was fun to spend some one on one time with him. He was so excited for the special attention.



He is ready for kindergarten!!
