Another Week's Gone By

Where has the time gone?! I swear the days are getting shorter, which makes the weeks fly by. Last weekend we spent a day with my parents at the cabin. Isaac got to fish off the dock with Eddy. It's fun to watch him get so excited about something. He caught "a big fish" and I was able to capture him showing it off.
The water was definitely chilly, but the sun was shining. Isaac didn't seem to mind the water temperature and played in the water with the three boats that Grandma Becky brought for him.

Monday evening we brought Isaac to Sibling Class at the hospital. The kids looked at pictures of a family getting ready for a baby and then the group was split up based on ages. The 2/3 year olds sat with a doll and held, fed, and changed its diaper. After that we went up to the OB floor and got a tour. They brought a baby out and showed the kids. Isaac (and his infatuation of making sure he has socks on at all times) wanted the teacher to put the baby's socks back on! Then we went back for a snack and each kid got a goodie bag. At one point the teacher asked what babies do and Isaac raised his hand and said "wah, wah, wah...all through the town" and did the hand motion like he was rubbbing his eyes. Guess we sing "The Wheels on the Bus" a lot!

Wednesday brought another OB appointment. We're at the point of weekly appointments now. Everything continues to go well. Baby's heart beat is strong and I'm a little more dilated/effaced than last week. Now it's just a waiting game. Although due date is getting close, it hit me there's still three weeks to go. Still time to work on that to-do list, but also make time for some fun activities with Isaac.
