Special People

Today was a great day! Not only is Piper 11 months old, but we have been able to visit with some wonderful people today. I have known a very special family, Jim & Jodel (with their three kids) since living in SW Minnesota. Their children were 4,3 and 10 months when I started babysitting them at the ripe age of 11! Well, their beautiful middle child graduates from UMD tomorrow! Although our paths don't cross often, I feel lucky to continue to have them in my life.
We were able to meet up with Jim and Jodel for lunch and then came back to the house to give them a tour.
Also today, we had Eddy's grandparents and parents over for dinner tonight. Pattie and Carl live in New Hampshire and drove out here to visit. It was Piper's first time meeting her great-grandparents. We are very grateful they were able to make the drive. We hope to go out there next summer.

Here are four generations of men!

And, four generations of women!
