This week while dropping (more) stuff off at Goodwill, I saw this table for sale. I've been casually looking for an oval/round pedestal table for our new kitchen. We don't have an eat-in kitchen right now, so we eat our meals at the dining room table. We certainly don't NEED a kitchen table right away--we could put the one we have in the kitchen and just not have a dining room table for awhile. But then I saw this table. For $50. Including three chairs (a little random) and TWO leaves. It's certainly not in perfect condition, but it's the shape and style I was looking for. For cheap. So long story short, it's now in the garage, ready to be moved!

The past few times I've used the oven, it smells like something is burning. I've like at the bottom of the oven and there are the usual crumbs, but I didn't think it was bad. But I decided to clean it anyway. So as I'm pulling out the top rack, WAY in the back corner of the rack are two potatoes... burnt to a crisp! I actually took them outside and hit them with a hammer. They completely flakes apart!

Piper has been good about making her bed lately. This week I walked by her room and saw this. She is so sweet with her animals!

Wednesday after work and picking the kids up I decided to have both kids bike while I ran. Piper is usually in the stroller, so I anticipated that it would be an interesting outing. Isaac was NOT interested in going for a bike ride and whined about it nearly the entire time. I had to threaten him with an early bed time if he kept it up. Piper started to cry about 1.25 minutes into it, saying that her legs were tired. Uffda! In the end I was able to tweak out a 1.7 mile "run". And then got on the treadmill for a quick mile while dinner was in the oven.
