This weekend was the last home game series for the Yellowjackets. Today, my sister and her husband, and my parents, came up to watch the team, as well as to celebrate Grandma Becky's birthday and Mother's Day. It was a great afternoon. It was particularily nice for me--several other people to help me entertain Isaac!
The team won 1 out of the 4-game series. Although their win/loss record isn't what we all hoped for, UWS won one game each against UW-Whitewater, UW-Stout (won 2 games), UW-Steven's Point, and UW-Oshkosh, which hasn't happened in almost 30 years. There's been improvement every year since Eddy's been the coach, and with as much work as he and the team put in, it's sure to continue. How many more days til the 2010 season opener? Uh, let's do the countdown for baby Morgan's arrival before we think about that!
Isaac has done really well with being in his new bed. He's fallen out a few times, but after we rock him for a minute and put him down, he's ok. The only other downfall so far is when he yells "I awake" and comes into our bedroom at 6am on the weekends. We put the crib back together in the baby's room. Isaac didn't seem to be bothered by it at all. We're all getting ready to be a family of four.
