Piper is 4!! How is my baby four years old already?! She is so amazing. A spitfire. A snuggler. And everything in between. She's grown physically and developmentally so much. It's going to be so much fun watching her this year!
We went to the hotel pool in the morning. Isaac wanted to snorkel with his lifejacket on. My Mom suggested he try without the lifejacket. He was VERY hesitant, but eventually decided to try. My back was to him and all of sudden, my Dad points behind me and says, "look!". I turn around, and Isaac is SWIMMING!!! He's got a mask and snorkel on, and he's floating and moving his arms and legs to get around!! I stared at him in pure amazement. When he finally stood up, we all cheered for him. He looked at us like 'what's the big deal?'. Oh my word I was so proud! A few minutes later he's in the middle of the pool, swimming to the deep end. No lifejacket. No flailing around. It's as if the mask and snorkel transform him into another person.

And then before we knew it, he's doing forward AND backward somersaults in the water! Who IS this kid?! Certainly not the timid, shy to try anything new kid I am used to seeing. It was so awesome! My heart was bursting will pride. Maybe overkill, it's just swimming and somersaults, but oh well!
After all that fun and excitement, my parents helped me load up the car and we headed back to Milwaukee and Mom and Dad went home. It was tough leaving them. Sometimes it's not until you don't have people around to realize that when you DID have people around, it was pretty awesome. Love them bunches.
When we got back to the host family's house, Piper opened her gifts from us. Isaac picked out the dolphin Barbie.

Her own glove and ball!

My aunt and uncle shipped a gift--a cute tutu. Piper quickly took her shorts off to put the tutu on. Hopefully she doesn't think she will be leaving the house like that!

At Friday's game, she had a blast jumping in the bouncy house. Over. And over. And over.

I think she had a pretty good day!
