We took the kids with us to Concordia, where we has a meeting with HR to go over benefits information. Then we went over to the athletic department. I was able to meet Eddy's boss and we were introduced to many staff and coaches. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. It was good for the kids and I to see where he will be working.
We then met up with Lindsey, Paul, and Jason! I am beyond grateful that they made to trip to visit and help us. They took the kids to a playground when Eddy left for the ball field and I went for a 12 mile run (last long run before the half!). The run was hot--not much shade and I was running mid-afternoon. I felt good afterwards and we headed back to the house to eat supper and get ready to go to the game. Everything was going as planned, until after dinner as I was getting my shoes on to leave. I suddenly felt nauseous. I spent the next hour in and out of the bathroom, on the toilet and thinking I was going to vomit. I felt awful--and terrible that I was holding the kids and my sister and her family up. Luckily after a good throw up session, I felt better and we headed out. We got in the last few innings of the game.

Isaac LOVES Gill!

Jason got his pic with Gill too!

Monday Eddy was signing pictures of himself (along with a few players) after the game. Isaac was thrilled!

I got his autograph AND I'm married to this stud!!

And of course the kids ran the bases after the game.

Isaac got a super special bat boy jersey after the game!
