A Hard Day, Made Better

The Chinooks lost in the playoffs last night, so the season is over. With that, reality set in. Unlike last year when Eddy came home and life went back to normal and we had a few awesome last weeks of summer, this year he would come home for a few days, then go back. No normal. No last weeks of summer together. We haven't sold our house and I don't have a job down there. It was hard getting through work. The kids and I went for a walk after work and I ended up crying to two of my neighbors. What if we are still here at Christmas? All of our decorations are in the far corner of the garage, buried behind a LOT of boxes. My heart would break for my kids. But my neighbors, two amazing women, helped calm me down. We walked back to our yard. When I looked up, there was a white car pulling in the driveway. Eddy came home a night early!! And the tears started flowing again. And kept coming. I am so happy to have him home.

We couldn't let Isaac wait to open presents. New flippers!

The movie Flipper and the soundtrack from Teen Beach Movie.

A remote control boat AND car!

My whole family. In our house together. Pure happiness.
