We had a good day at the cabin on Sunday, but I was having a really hard time. Sometimes I can go on auto pilot and do what needs to be done. Basically being a single parent, working, keeping the house clean in case there are showings, traveling all over Wisconsin, I just keep going. But then sometimes it just is too much. And when I struggle, I spiral down quickly. Tonight was one of those nights. And then my Mom offered to come home with us. Her suggestion was made on a whim, and I was so relieved that she could come and help me.
Two of the Iowa cousins had been in town, so we all met up at a local park on Monday for lunch.

Mom stayed until Tuesday morning. It was wonderful having her here. Isaac was scheduled to take his cousins back to Iowa with Papa Tuesday morning. My mom hitched a ride to Hinckley where Dad picked her up. It worked out well, but of course I would have loved to have her stay longer. But I'll take whatever I can get.
