Last weekend at the cabin

Unless by some miracle, we were at the cabin for the last time this past weekend. Where has summer gone? We had an awesome day, highlighted in pictures.

Isaac had a great time "fishing" with his new fishing pole, in Aunt Kate's kayak...from shore!
Once Isaac finally went in the water, we had fun playing around.
The water was a little on the cool side, so Eddy stayed on the beach with Piper for a bit.

The best story from the summer...Grandpa J buried Isaac in the sand:

Where to start...

...it's been so long since I've posted! Let's see...Isaac's birthday was great and I was able to recover some pictures. We celebrated at the cabin with my side and then two days later with Eddy's side.

We spent the past weekend in St. Cloud visiting my sister and her husband. My parents were also there. We had a campfire in the backyard
While my mom, sister and I were shopping (I got some AMAZING deals!), the guys went to a favorite local establishment.

Believe it or not, Isaac isn't hurting Piper, it just looks that way!

We asked Paul to be Piper's Godfather. So happy he accepted.
Sunday was our 6th anniversary!

No Pictures...Yet

So, I've been waiting to blog about Isaac's birthday when I had a few minutes to download pictures. When I finally got around to it, an error message showed up and the camera isn't letting me download. Off to the camera store we went this morning and luckily they said they'll be able to get the pictures on a disc before they delete them on the memory card in order to reformat it. Hopefully it works.

Babies!

Tonight I, along with friends Michaela and Jodi, brought dinner to our friend Sunshine who just had twin boys. All four of us met through Early Childhood Family Education when our first-borns were infants. Can't believe it's been almost 3 years since we met! Olive Garden and wine were accompanied by great conversation with friends!
