Fresh Air

Both kids were sick when I picked them up from daycare. Because of their high fevers and strep exposure, I took them to Urgent Care. Luckily, no strep. Piper has an ear infection we are now treating. Eddy was out of town for work, so I stayed home with the kids on Tuesday. Luckily Isaac was feeling better on Wednesday. Piper's on her way, but pretty clingy right now.

I decided to take them out for a walk, to get some fresh air. I'm glad we went when we did. It downpoured shortly after we got back!

He goes so fast now. I have to jog every once in a while to keep up!

A Straw Lover

It's probably because she sees her big brother use them, but Piper LOVES using straws! Most recently she threw a 20 minute fit for what I thought was no particular reason. Then I walked past Isaac's milk with a straw, and her eyes lit up! She drank almost all of it--stopping only to take a breath and smile at me. It's like her eyes were saying, this is what I wanted all along!".
