We had a great time. So lucky that we can see each other as often as we do.

Wednesday Afternoon With Grandma
With Eddy out of town for baseball, I drove the kids down to Willow River to see my mom for the afternoon and early evening. It was raining in Duluth when we left, but sunny and 54 degrees just 55 minutes south! There are three playgrounds within walking distance from my mom's place, so that's where we spent the majority of our visit.

A Day of Baseball
This morning Isaac put on his baseball pants (the ones I bought last summer at a garage sale for $1!). Before Eddy had to head to the ball field, they went to a local sports store to get a few things. When Lindsey and I got back from a walk, Isaac was was outfitted--helmet, gloves, belt, socks, eye black, and cleats! He looked so grown up and so proud!

Check out the knees of his pants--grass stained from sliding!

Eddy took Isaac to the field since could be with the team as they got the field ready for the game. Lindsey, Piper, and I met them there.
Because of the condition of the field at UWS, some of the home games are being played at Duluth's Wade Stadium. It was really nice--completely roofed/netted, so I didn't have to worry about the kids being hit. They did great, especially because we were there for 5 hours.

After the game, eddy threw a few balls to Isaac.

And a few minutes in to the ride home, Piper fell asleep.

It was a great day at the ball field! Oh, and UWS won both games!!

Fun Saturday
My sister came up for the weekend. Her hubby had to work and I had several activities planned on Saturday, and really needed help, so I was grateful she could come. Saturday morning I ran the Fitger's 5K. It was my first 5k when I ran it last year. What a difference a year makes! My best friend Courtney has been a runner for years and has been really supportive of me running.

While I was doing that, my neighbor Judy came over to watch Piper and my sister took Isaac to swim lessons. Then we were on to the PBS Kids Club Circus. There were a lot of games, inflatables, other activities, and lunch.

Isaac attempted the Velcro wall!

Piper wanted her picture taken, but not without me.

There were also vehicles outside to see--a semi, fire truck, school bus, and police car. I told Isaac j better not see him in one of these for real!

Piper was very excited to e on a school bus like her brother gets to ride.

The next part of the plan was to go to Eddy's baseball game, but because of SNOW, it was postponed. My parents also surprised us by coming up for a few hours! It was a busy, but very fun day!

Wheelbarrow
Isaac helped Eddy clean up the yard a couple of weeks ago. He was so helpful, but it was hard for him to dump the brush in the woods. So we looked online an ordered a kid size wheelbarrow. It came in the mail a coupe of days ago and he was SSSSOOOO excited to put it together and use it!

And since Isaac was excited, Piper was too.

I wonder when the novelty will wear off!
One more picture...with Eddy being in season, I don't get much of an opportunity to take pictures of him with the kids. Here the kids were hanging out with him in our bed.

Happy Easter!
The kids were VERY excited to see what the Easter bunny brought!

The kids in their Easter best!

My mom snapped a picture of us before we headed to church.

There was a rush to get to church. On our way there, I realized we hadn't put the ham in the oven! That messed up dinner plans a little, so I was in the kitchen while Eddy took pictures of the kids with each of the grandparents. So, these were the only pictures I took on my phone. Then, my actual camera was set to video (when it should have been set to camera), so I'll have to wait for my dad to email me pictures to post more.
In any case, lunch/dinner was great and it was nice having my parents and Eddy's parents with us.
