Morning Run

Yesterday morning I woke up at 5. I didn't really want to be up that early, but couldn't fall back to sleep. I decided to go down to the Lakewalk for a run. A ship was coming in just as I was coming up to the pier. I thought these pictures turned it pretty well for a camera phone! I think it was about 6:45am when these were taken. I ended up running 10.3 miles. Going for a run was much better than laying in bed, being mad I was up so early!

Momma & Her Kids

Every once in awhile I try to get in a picture or two with the kids (I'm usually behind the camera). I've gotten a few good ones recently!

I was wedged in between the kids on our way to the Science Museum. Grateful that my parents own a big car!





Eddy and I did a local 5K a couple weekends ago. I won my age/sex category! It wasn't a very big race...but I got a medal...from RUNNING!!!

How is Isaac almost 5? He is such a sweet boy. My heart melts every time I get a "Mom, I love you".

Cute Kids Alert

Isaac came down the stairs all ready for the day recently! He's got his Batman mask, train conductor vest, Thomas backpack and Mystery Machine lunch box!


Piper was looking through the Sunday ads with me last week!


Eddy got a new lawn mower (I think he's in love with it!) and Isaac wanted to help.


Piper has her purse and her baby--she's ready to go!


The kids have been playing really well together lately. It's so fun to watch!

Cute Kids Alert 2

Isaac has loved the little blue Schwinn bike my aunt and uncle got him, but it is now officially too small. Now he's upgraded to a yellow and red Schwinn! He refers to it as his racing bike.


Piper loves ice cream cones!


At a recent trip to the Science Museum of MN. He's wearing his dinosaur jacket and having a blast looking at dinosaur bones!

Easter

I had hoped that Easter Sunday would be a warm, sunny day, since it was so late in the year this year...well, it was sunny, but cool and windy. Bummer. But that didn't stop us from having a great day! Isaac woke up bright and early, ready to see what the Easter Bunny brought! Then we colored Easter eggs (better late than never, right?!). After that is was on to church and then Eddy's parents' house for dinner.

Isaac was very excited about his new Mystery Machine lunch box!
