Thursday morning the floodgates opened for me. Eddy and I have gone through so much since he left to coach the Chinooks. And I've had to hold it together for the kids and so I could do everything that needed to be done. Through tears, I told Eddy how sad I was to be moving, and he listened. He acknowledged my feelings and held me while I let it out. After breakfast my Dad and I sat in the hotel lobby and I continued to cry. And cry. I am thankful that I have supportive people around me. They don't try to fix things or offer solutions--they just let me be sad. Once I finally pulled it together, I went for a 4.5 mile run and when I got back to the hotel, I found Eddy practicing ball with Isaac.

Eddy decided to have the assistants take the team out to lunch, so he could join my parents, kids, and I, for lunch. It was nice. My Dad took him to the ball field afterwards, and my Mom and I took the kids to an aquatic center.

It was a beautiful day to swim and to watch a ball game!

After the game, Eddy and the team headed back to Milwaukee and we stayed at a hotel with my parents.
